L'oreal Infallible Matte

This is my favourite foundation at the moment, I have oily skin and it's perfect for me. It lasts a really long time. I wouldn't say it lasts the 24 hours stated, but I've yet to found one that actually lasts as it's believed too. There's a normal version of this foundation which i believe is a liquid but i haven't tried it as i know it wouldn't be suitable for my skin type.
It's around 8 pound either from super drug or boots. and has around 6 shade colours.
I use the shade 11- vanilla and i think it's a good match, i have quite pale skin so struggle with any foundation looking orange.
Powder
The range also has a powder, which i love! it's my all time no.1 now, i wouldn't buy anything different again. I use 123 warm vanilla in that. I think it's really effective, and lasts a long time. I only normally apply once a day and its lasts all day, depending on what activities i'm doing i might need a touch up. It doesn't cling to any dry spots on my face, and is soft to the face. Amazing value for money, it lasts ages and is around 5 pound!

Blush Palette

Hey Everyone!

I bought my first blusher palette, from make up revolution, ' Hot Spice '
It was actually the first thing i had ever purchased from the brand,. as recently i haven't really been updating my make up bag, just living of the essential;s when its ran out i've repurchased the same thing.. Lazy of a beauty lover, but i am making up for it now.

I wanted a palette for a long time, as they are only £6, there was a choice of 2, one was a pink collection, and the other orange shades.
I went for the orange, but have made a hint to my partner i want the other one, so if he doesn't buy it i will just buy it myself.
As you can see there are 8 shades in the palette, so 100% worth every penny, less than £1 a blusher, could it get any better?
It also has a full size mirror so it makes using it even easier.
Each day i use a different colour and have loved every one, the pay off is very good, you don't need to add much to your brush. If neglected it will become very messy though, so you need to really look after it ( and i would advice buying it !!)
Available in your local Superdrug,

IT'S A BOY!

Hey Everyone!
I'm sorry that it has been a very long time but as you can tell from the title, i'm now a mummy. A very proud one i'd like to add. There is literally no other better feeling in the world, my life feels complete.

Alfie was born 3rd September, which as you can tell makes him 3 months old. So it's a very late announcement. But now he's getting older i feel like i have a little more time on my hands, to pick up my blog again.
He's a great baby, sleeps at night; has done for a month now, and eats well. He's gorgeous, just the right combination of mummy and daddy.
He was a nice surprise as i didn't know i was pregnant till late in the pregnancy, but the best surprise we've ever had, and he is easily the best thing ever to happen to me and his father.

My blog will be taking a different approach now, i'm still very much into my beauty so that side of things will still be the same, but there will be post all about motherhood, so if your not into that, there will be something for everyone.

Foundation

I have treated myself to a new foundation, well really i didn't have a choice because i ran out of the one i was using... so i had to call to superdrug to buy another one, but i thought id change it up a little. Not to dramatic because i liked the one i was using.
This is the one i am using now, i had the red top before.. Basically whatever they claim to do differently i disagree, i think they are both the exact same. Does anyone find they do different things? I purchased this one instead of the red top because they were out of stock in the colour i needed, and i liked the way it made my skin look and feel so i played it safe and got this one.
It's very good at doing what it claims, and from www.superdrug.co.uk its £7.99 which is reasonable enough.
I would recommend it to a friend and would also buy it again when i run out, so obviously i think it's worth it. If your looking for a new foundation to try, try this one. It doesn't make my face look oily, or dry it out so it's a good one for every skin type.

Sanctuary spa

5 day moisture cream body oil
I've heard great things about this product and finally persuaded myself to buy it, i'm a little disappointed in the packaging because i always think a pump dispenser is nicer to use and definitely would save on usage of the product, but that didn't put me off. The packaging and scent is just the standard sanctuary products.
It tells you to put on dry clean skin, and also states you can use it on damp skin if you prefer. I guess people have different times of the day when they apply it, and maybes its easier to do just after a shower, or for some its easier to do just before bed.

It retails in boots for £7.00 but very often 3 for 2 is on a lot of the bath and body brands so you can get a good deal.

Its a soft product that makes your skin feel very well looked after, and not sticky and oily like you expect it to do. Its a very nice luxury product for the price, so its worth a buy.

I'm back and ready to get my beauty on!

Hello world I am back on my blog. That I've missed so much. I've just been so busy that I haven't had time to sit and search the internet for the latest beauty bits, and sit down and write my blog.
I have been sitting and searching on the internet for the newest things that I've been missing out on, it's a nightmare trying to catch up on months worth of products and blog posts that have come out since I've been working 7 days a week.
So not to bore you. Let's got on with some good old posts!!!

Soap and glory!

I love soap & glory as i have mentioned quite a few times on my blog. Really i haven't ever had a product Ive hated, There has been some Ive liked less, but never really disliked. I don't know what it is about the brand that has made me fall in love. But as soon as i tried one thing i just wanted to keep buying. Don't get me wrong obviously i use other brands, i need to try new things. But i also end up buying S&G again. I'm obviously addicted.
Recently I've been using different shower gels and haven't actually used a S&G one for a while, but i slightly mentioned that i was going to buy some in for when we run out of the current one we are using. And without me even needing to go to the shop to point it out. My partner treated me, and bought me up a shower gel to work.
It's the Sugar crush body wash, The smell is amazingly perfect.
I've never had this scent before, to be honest I've only used ' clean on me ' but I want to branch out and try all the different scents.
For now I'm enjoying this one, the citrus scent is really refreshing.
If you haven't tried a soap and glory product get to boots. If you haven't tried a soap and glory shower gel get yourself one. They are £6.50 each which seems like a lot but it last months and that's no lie! Because it's in a pump it lasts ages.

Spots!

That time of the month AGAIN.... how us females suffer each time it comes around. Cravings for chocolate, making us fat and when we dont get it straight away we become horrible and miserable. People around us moan about the way we are being horrible. And the spots!
The spots is my point for this post today. I cant cope with my skin at the moment. Its Disgusting.
I woke up this morning to about ten spots in a big circle on my chin. Maybe it wouldnt of been so bad if they were postioned in different places on my face, but NO that doesn't happen ; not to people with my luck anyway.

I havent had a bad outbreak of big red spots since school, yes i do get spots but not this many at one time in one place. I think the stress of moving has made my skin terrible so now its the lady time again, its just gone to pot.
That 12 year old skin again with acne when you went to school and people picked on you, its that all over again without the childish behaviour.
Does anyone else suffer badly?? If so every month, or does it come and go??

A new foundation!!

Yes another new foundation, it's one I've been after for ages and have finally bought it myself it's the ' loreal true match' I read so many good things about it like a lot of new foundations.
The consistency is really different to many other foundations I've used, its a lot runnier but it goes on easy and smoothly.
The colour shade i bought is ' Ivory ' It isn't the lightest there was one other one, but that one looked a lot to light for my skin type.
The colour matches my skin very well.
I'm impressed with first impressions but i can only comment correctly, when I've used it for a while, and how long it lasts on the skin, because for now i haven't worn it enough to know how long it would last.
It was £9.99, from superdrug but i know that Boots is the same price, but some time ( a lot of the time ) at one of the shops there is normally a 3 for 2 deal so watch out for that because you save a decent amount of money.
So far so good!!

Recent Empties

I have a couple of empties, not many but i thought i would talk about them, before they go in the bin and i forget.
Most of the things are shower related.
I haven't really used up much recently, but i have rotated everything in my bathroom trying to get my fella to help use them up!
I have some goodies waiting to be used and i hate waiting!
I have been loving the radox shower gels, The new ones.. well quite new.
I used 2 different ones recently.
- Berry Burst
- Cherry Blast
I really liked both of these, the creaminess of them and how they lather up. The fragrances are beautiful. I will defiantly repurchase these at some point because i did really enjoy these, ( think the fella did too, they went pretty quick ) Which is a downside, i like things to last, but they weren't very expensive. I think i bought them on offer at £1 each, ( I'm sure if you shop around you can find them at that price all the time )
These are the three in the range ( i think they have bought out a few more since )

Hot cloth cleanser

I have finally finished my hot cloth cleanser ( i dont mean that in a bad way ) i thought it was never going to end.. The product is so worth the money, it just kept going and going.
I was so impressed. I love this product and bought a new one quite a few weeks ago before i thought it was running out. Boy was i wrong.. I finally used it up tonight.
This was the first hot cloth cleanser i've ever used and to be completely honest when i first bought it i didn't even know what it was, until i heard someone else taking about it, and started using it. Ive used it every day every since.
I want to try a few others but haven't got around to it yet.. But i will.
Its the Superdrug Hot cloth cleanser with muslin cloth.
http://www.superdrug.com/superdrug/superdrug-hot-cloth-cleanser-with-muslin-cloth-150ml/invt/516251&bklist=
Full price £5.99, normally it is on offer, because each time I've bought it it has been around £3.00

Sanctuary shower gel
This was a new try to me, i've never tried the brand before. i bought a gift set just after christmas from boots when it goes half price. It including a few different things, like shower gel body butter etc. I was really excited to try the brand after i heard a lot of things about the range.
I have to admit i wasn't a huge fan off the shower gel. There was nothing great about it, the smell was overly nice. You didn't get a lot of product i was quite disappointed. I still have some more products to try from the range so i wont give up for the range just yet.

New lipstick!

Finally I have purchased the lipstick I have been wanting for a while, it's the ' loreal paris color riche collection privee '
For those who don't know it's a nude collection that had been made into nudes from celebrities.
http://www.boots.com/en/LOreal-Paris-Color-Riche-Collection-Privee_1369339/

i bought the shade ' Cheryl's nude ' there are quite a few different shades of nudes. i love my lipstick, its my lips but with a hint of shine. its so soft and moisturising, makes the lips feel smooth.
It took me a while to buy this lipstick, and i dont know why but i wish i purchased it a long time ago. But finally i have it!!
If your after a nice nude lipstick you should check out this range.
They are £8.19 each, but alot of places are always having a 3 for 2 offer so if you want a few things make sure one of these are in your basket!!

Bath shower week!

I'm going to talk about products that I love to use in the bath or shower and would buy again and again, some of these things I've only used once but I know I would buy again, and some are favourites I've had multiple times. I wanted to share things that I couldn't imagine my shower/ baths without.

Share your loved products with me!!

Sorry everyone!

I am really sorry for the lack of posts recently, and pretty soon I will go back to Every day posts. But for the time being I don't have the energy to actually sit down and write for you. ( I'm sorry!) as of Saturday I've been in a lot of pain, and after two visits to the dentists I have found out I have a tooth abses! It's extremely painful, and my face has swallon up due to the infection.
I actually have to wait until the infection has gone and then they will remove the tooth but for now, I'm stressed in pain and very tired. Lack of sleep does not agree with me!
So as of next week I'll be back to normal posting I promise!

Crazy!

I actually think I have problems.. All I think about most of the day is, oh shall I try something different with my hair.
Do a different face mask, do my make up at ten o'clock at night?! Why!!
Is that normal or just me??

Growing up for girls is normally the same, obviously not everyone likes makeup, but a lot do. As I went into secondary school I couldn't care. I had awful skin, and the worst hair; but of course I didn't care when I was 11. Now I see kids at that age with faces fl of make up. But each year came and I started trying different things. And now it's all I talk about! Sad as anything!!

I feel sorry for my fella because he must know more about beauty things than anyone man should ever know.
I do have friends that are into the same things, but not many. And for my friend group, beauty products isn't the type of conversation we have because we hardly ever see each other due to other important life things.

So if any of you want to chat about makeup skin hair, anything beauty. Hit me up, I'd love to have a chat about products that I should try, or even recommend things for you!

Thank you xxx

Make up week- day two

I mentioned in the previous post that I'm starting a week talking about some products that I couldn't live without!
Today I'm talking about sleek blush ' rose gold ' this blusher is lovely, gives a lovely pink tint to the cheeks with a glowing gold glitter. On tanned skin it looks better so I'm trying not to over do it now that I'm pale again. But hopefully as soon as the sun comes out I can start loving this again.
I think this colour would suit a lot of people. And is the perfect go to blusher for many people
I bought this from super drug, I know that in cities these should be easy to find! I struggled not living in a city.
You can also order these from the Internet.
It cost me less than £5! Cannot complain, it's a great price for the size of blusher and the fact you get a mirror too.

I've seen a few people in other countries using these as well.

Perfume

You can't beat a beautiful perfume.
I like perfume but am not a huge user. I use it for special occasions, or whenever I feel like it.

I received a new one for Christmas, so just want to do a quick mention. It's the 'Britney Spears midnight fantasy'
Obviously she has lots of fragrances, and I have tried quite a few!

Fantasy - everyone had this when I was at school but I wasn't a huge user.

Curious- couldn't stand this perfume but my friends wore it ALL the time annoyingly!

Believe- I loved this perfume! I received it as a gift from a friend one Christmas, I hadn't even heard of it let alone smelt it. But I loved it and was gutted when it finished!!
Britney has so many perfumes, but I don't think I will buy myself any other one any time soon.
Midnight fantasy is really nice, I can't describe it but it's sweet and floral, so if you don't like that I wouldn't go for it. I think it's a young scent, maybe even younger than me, but it was a gift. So if you have a young teenager birthday coming up, this is an idea. I don't think it's very expensive too!!

Make up week - day one

This is the first in a week series that I'm going to do. I'm going to talk about a different product each day that I couldn't imagine my make up life without.
First up is the benefit ' porefessional'
This thing is amazing! And since I bought it, it's literally changed my life and I can now not imagine my life without it. It makes my make up stay on longer, and makes my skin feel softer, smoother. It's changed everything!
If anyone wants to try a primer, try this one because it's perfect in every way!
I have oily skin around my nose mainly, and really big pores. I don't use this every day ( I'm not made of money ) but on certain days where I'm out all day I like to use this on my cheeks nose chin and a little on my forehead.
I moister first let that settle and then use this with my fingers. ( clean fingers )

I bought this from John Lewis, but I know you can buy this from many places,
I also know that you can buy this in different countries, so its one for everyone to try!
I bought mine for around £24.99

Recent favourite things

I have a few products to talk about, not loads because I have mentioned some of them in different posts and don't want to bore you all!

Hair:
It's starting loving my ' toni&guy salt spray ' again, I've started slightly curling my hair, so it looks natural and using this throughout my hair too make it look more beachy then 'big curls' I'm not using this every day, but I tend to use it on days where I know my hair needs washing that night or following day, I don't like the feel of things in my hair.

I also am in love with my ' Argan oil mask' there's things are 99p! And I think I'm on my third pot. I love this stuff, it makes my hair feel great, and smell nice. Also I can't complain at the price! I use this roughly once or twice a week.

Last up for hair is 'vo5 dry shampoo' I don't use this very often but some days I use it for a freshen up and I like the smell. I don't think it's amazing but it doesn't leave that horrible white dust that other dry shampoos leave behind. I'm on my 2nd bottle of this too. I will buy again but only when it's on offer because I think it's a little pricey and you don't get that much use out of it.

Skin:
I love my new ' simple mostuirier' I was running low on the one I was sung and kind of hinted I want a new one so my lovely partner actually picked it up and snuck it in my bag. Cute isn't he!
I really like this, it's soft and gentle on my skin and isn't very thick and heavy, I cannot stand that about some products. I do really like this so far.

Make up:
I have actually just received the ' real techniques expert face brush ' - late birthday present, and I really like it. It's weird getting used to using a brush again, for a Long time I've just been using fingers, so it's taking some gettin used to. But I love the way it blends everything in together and makes it look flawless. I'm really impressed.

' rimmel scandal eyes' I have used the nomal gel like pencil eye liner, but I thought I would try something different, the pen type eye liner. It's weird because I haven't used this type before, but I'm enjoying trying things out, it makes winged liner a lot easier I will admit!

Random:
I have been loving ' wilkinson- afterglow ' it's such a great song, but the video is really amazing. It's funny yet really smart. Me and partner are constantly listening to it, and really love the song ( dances around the room )

Wispa hot chocolate, if you haven't tried these do it now!! Every time we go into the supermarket I pick up the sachets of these, I love it!! But could drink it constantly, and I don't think that's what your meant to do! I love it, with milk or even just hot chocolate. Cheap and cheerful too! I love it. Yummy!!

Hot cloth cleanser

Hot Cloth Cleanser!!
how smooth they make your skin! and are great for your skin too!
Sadly I've only used one, that's reasonably priced, but once it runs out i think i will be trying to find a better quality one. But cheaper doesn't mean that its rubbish. its actually really good, and I've seen quite a few people use it.

Even though i am literally obsessed with make up,hair and skin care, i was kind of unaware how good hot cloth cleansers were. I actually bought this a while ago, but just completely forgot about it and i was having a clear out of what i don't like/use and found this!
This one also doesn't sting your eyes in anyway that you expect some products to do when you remove make up. Its really gentle and soothing. The cloth that comes with isn't the best, but you cant complain for the price.

' Super drug Hot Cloth Cleanser with muslin cloth '
I've added the link below because at the moment they have a promotion on, like most things from the 'Superdrug' brand.
Originally its only £5.99, so even full price it isn't that badly priced. you get quite a lot of product too.

http://www.superdrug.com/superdrug/superdrug-hot-cloth-cleanser-with-muslin-cloth-150ml/invt/516251&bklist=

This is the one I've been using but i know there are MANY on the market out there.
Super drug sell another version of this, which Ive always heard alot about.
So let me know if you've tried one, or even both and which one you prefer!

Apocalips!

Finally I own one of these! It's so exciting for me :)
It's in the colour ' 101 celestial'
There is an offer on at the moment in boots, they are only £4.99! Bargain so quickly head on over there and grab yours before the deal ends!

In the USA I know they sell these but I know the colours are different, so I don't know what shade this would be abroad but check them out.
