Lush Christmas - star light star bright

I know normal people will of used up all there christmas bath products from lush, but i'm still getting through all of mine, I really like to make them last. Today i'm talking about star light star bright; which is a bath melt. I wasn't a huge fan because as i expected the slight glitter was a bit of a nightmare because even though it didn't stick to the skin it made a mess in the bath, which is ok but a little annoying.
The product smelt really nice, and like all the other bath products made the whole of my upstairs smell beautiful. It was strange how it was blue on the inside, which i liked about the product because it was a nice little surprise that i didn't expect.
If i had the choice i wouldn't buy again just because i have used other products i have preferred them, but included in a gift set i would use it again.
It did what it stated it would do which i always think is a good thing about a product.

21st Birthday Celebrations

I'm so struggling to sort my birthday out, has anyone had a bodyshop party at home before? I'm in contact with a rep and i know the lady is available when i need her. But i want to know if its worth it, i dont want to ruin what should be my best birthday, and make my friends bored. Suggestions? If not can anyone think of something beauty related i can do instead. Maybe visiting a spa? getting a few treatments. Shopping? Any suggestions Welcome.
With it being a special birthday i really do need to go all out. It's all so exciting, bring on some good times with my family and friends. It's the best reason to have a birthday.

Lush - Honey I Washed The Kids

Today's product from Lush, is a soap.. And it's going to last a long time. I decided to just chop a little bit off instead of using the chunk ( i assume that's what most people do ) it makes it last longer, without going all horrible as it sits on the side of the bath/sink.. Where ever you choose to keep it. I was rather impressed with it, it lathered up nicely and smelt like caramel ( made me think of food. ) not a good idea. I really liked using it, and am sure i will enjoy using it until it runs out.. in a long time.

There is the link if you want to buy it for yourself. it's worth a buy though.

Make up gift guide

A good make up gift set is perfect, for a beauty lover. And i wanted to share a few with you, that i think are great. Most of them are the higher end scale price wise, because its mainly higher end brands that do the sets, but I will include any affordable ones i can find.

I'm going to start with benefit, they have lots available but i thought id just mention one, otherwise we would be here forever.

I went with the Benefit primping with the stars all time greatest fake its kit. Yes its got a crazy long name. it retails on www.feelunique.co.uk for £26.50
it has the famous porefessional which i have tried and really liked, also lasts a long time so this sample should last a lengthly time, a rose tinted lip and check stain. stay don't stray stay-put for congealers and eyeshadows and many more. All minis so very cute and easy to use for travel. Also a good thing to try a product out without buying a normal size for full price.
it all comes nicely package in this box as you can see underneath.

I thought i would turn to Urban Decay next. I found a nice 24/7 eyeliner set. It contains four of the double ended eyeliners.

It's £27 on feelunqie.co.uk and is available anywhere that sells urban decay like John Lewis, and many other department stores. Or check out Urban Decay website. It's not hard to find if there is stock available.

Also From Urban Decay, Is the new Naked on the run palette. This palette is truly beautiful, every girls christmas dream.
How beautiful is that? 5 Shadows, 1 highlighter,2 blushers, 1 eyeliner pencil, a mascara and a lip product. All for £37.00 . Yes pricy but imagine see someones face when they open this present, its beautiful. If you know someone who is a true beauty addict this gift is right for them.

The outside is like something you have never seen before. PERFECTION!

Lush Hot Toddy

This is another review from my gift set from lush, ' 12 days of christmas ' this shower gel was included and i used it for the first time last night.
I have to say i didn't like the smell, i'm not a fan of cinnamon so i knew i wouldn't like it, but i thought i would review it anyway. It wasn't like i went out my way to buy this product because i knew it wouldn't be for me.
The texture however was nice, and it left my skin feeling nice and soft, and i would also recommend it to someone who liked that heavy scent, but not me.
It has a shimmer in the bottle, but it isn't noticeable on the skin when you use it ( well i couldn't see it anyway )

Body shop

40% off everything and a free gift.. don't miss out if you want to buy something for a loved one for christmas from there.. it's too good to miss out on. You receive a moisturiser free of charge when you spend over £10, which is very easy to do. It's worth £11, so its a very good deal. Even if you give it to someone as gift, you've saved a bit of money.

http://www.thebodyshop.co.uk/index.aspx

It's a bit silly that if you are a member, you dont 40% off you only get 10% so check your checkout price and deals before ordering, as you should be getting the best deal possible.

Lush- Olive branch

This is a shower gel from Lush, that i received in a gift set but i thought id do a review for you.
I like to save things and make them last so i wasn't planning on using the shower gels until after christmas when i kind of ran out of what i was using at the moment.
They are handy because they are small bottles so if you are going anywhere they are easier to use as travel size. But then i thought to myself i know a lot of products from Lush have a use by date, so i realised i have to use them.
I went for Olive Branch first, it was just the first one i chose. I wasn't sure if i would like it, but surprisingly i did. It's the first shower gel i have used from Lush and was pleasantly surprised. The smell was slightly masculine, nothing floral like the scents i'm normally attracted too, and it wouldn't be one i would of chose in the shop after smelling the bottle.
It smelt really nice whilst i was applying it, and it slightly made the room smell similar. I used a tiny amount of product and it really lathered up over my whole body. It has also left my skin very soft.
For 100g bottle it is £4.75, which is pricy and i think it would take me a lot to buy one at that price but i will see how long this bottle lasts as to weather i think its worth paying that price.
https://www.lush.co.uk/products/olive-branch
I have put a link incase you want to have a look and order one, also the ingredients are all listed incase you wondered what was in it.
It's an orange colour, and has a weird substance in it, so be sure to shake it up before use.

What's in my shower?

I thought this would be a nice little post because I don't think I've done one of these, or have and it was so long ago that I've forgotten.

It isn't the best photo in the world, but it has my most important things in at the moment.
Mostly soap and glory products as you can see! i love them always have, 2 shower gels, only one is open at the m minute and i'm sure it will last a very long time because it normally does. i'm using the sugar crush one, and have the clean girls one to use next. I also have a body cream as well, witch it the smoothie one. This smells like heaven, its honestly to die for. It makes your skin feel so soft and smooth too. Next up is my tresemme hair mask, i only use this about once a week, or twice if i think my hair needs a little something more. But because i use it so little it has lasted a long time. Its very nice and not to expensive to buy either. I will be repurchasing it when i eventually run out, unless i find another one i want to try. I have started using the body shop cleansing oil, it takes my make up off quickly and makes my skin feel soft after use. You dont need much just literally one or two pumps. It's the first oil i have ever used and i am really enjoying it.
I have a scrub, its nothing special just a cheap one from tesco but it does what i need it to do so thats all good. My neutrogena wave is my bathroom as well, i use this every now and again. You have to replace the pads ( not expensive ) but i feel like i dont need it every day.
I keep my sanctuary body oil here as well for when i get out the shower or bath to put straight on. It's a lovely product, and isn't like a oil at all.
In the background i know you can see my watch, a face mask from superdrug and my baby lips. Just things that are normally knocking around somewhere in my bathroom.
I d didn't include shampoo and conditioner because this changes on a weekly basis as to what i'm fancying at the time, but it isn't anything special.

Cinders

As you are aware i have a few lush products to review for you all.. So today is about ANOTHER bath bomb, also another one i haven't tried before. This one is Cinders, and i have to admit i didn't really enjoy it. It didn't do ANYTHING, well from what i could tell anyway. It sent the water a horrible yellowy colour, not nice at all, and i couldn't even smell anything extra special while i was in the bath. and it all seemed a little pointless to be honest.
To buy its £2.50 which seems reasonable enough because its not very big, but like i said i found it pretty rubbish. it was a waste of time to be honest.

Lush Bath Time

I have actually finished used one thing from my lush gift set that i mentioned a while ago. it's the 12 days of christmas one;so as you would imagine there is 12 different things in the box.
When you open it you can see everything which is a little annoying but i guess what you expect because it isn't supposed to be a surprise. So it was my choice what i wanted to use first.
I went for a bath bomb, all the bath bombs are christmassy as you expect so i chose at random.
' Dashing Santa ' is the one i chose, and if you didn't know it is shaped just like a little santa claus.
It's a really cute little one that obviously smells like christmas. It  doesn't claim to do anything extra special like some of them do, its just a bath bomb. You can buy this one individually  for £2.95, but it is only on sale around the christmas season.  It did make my bathroom, and the whole of upstairs smell very nice and it also sent the water red as you imagine it would. Bath bombs are more like something luxury that just smell extra special. So it was quite nice but nothing overly amazing to comment on.

soap time

soaps are hardly heard of, or used anymore. But you cant beat a nice soap. So yes i purchased some of the body shops. I bought a pink grapefruit one, yes i know its no shock there. I also chose the honey one. They smell beautiful. Just like the hand creams that i bought for my friends stockings, i got them a soap to go along with the matching fragrance.
These are only £2 each and the limited edition christmas ones are £2.50 each so are easily affordable. And are quite reasonable in size too.

12 days of Christmas

12 days of Christmas contains 12 great products, all different, but all amazing. This can be used as an advent calendar type thing, or even just as a gift. It retails at £50; which seems quite pricy, but I think it's worth it. I haven't actually tried any of the products that are in this gift, but I have used many different lush products in the past.
Singular bath bombs are roughly £4 each let alone the 2 soaps and shower gels which the box contains.
Dashing Santa, holly Golightly, golden wonder and star light star bright bath melt are all included.
If you are stuck for ideas, this is a good present, and something quick and easy. I will be doing reviews throughout December on the products involved, so if you are interested in hearing about the products make sure to come back then.
The packaging is big for what is in inside though i think they have wasted a lot of space to be honest but its really nice. It is presented like a book which i think is a nice idea, its a shame that when you open it all the products are there i think they could have packaged them some how to kind of hide the products because it slightly ruins the element of surprise. I know that on the outside it tells you the contents but i think for some people if they dont want to know, you dont have a choice as soon as you open it.
Sorry for anyone who didn't want to see the inside but maybe some of you do..
As you can see you have 12 sections in the box to keep the products separate, but i didn't really like the fact that the bath bombs haven not been wrapped like they normally would do when you purchase them in singles in the store.
Here is a photo of the outside packaging, and it is a lot bigger than it actually looks. But i think the packaging is very pretty.

Soap and glory!

I love soap & glory as i have mentioned quite a few times on my blog. Really i haven't ever had a product Ive hated, There has been some Ive liked less, but never really disliked. I don't know what it is about the brand that has made me fall in love. But as soon as i tried one thing i just wanted to keep buying. Don't get me wrong obviously i use other brands, i need to try new things. But i also end up buying S&G again. I'm obviously addicted.
Recently I've been using different shower gels and haven't actually used a S&G one for a while, but i slightly mentioned that i was going to buy some in for when we run out of the current one we are using. And without me even needing to go to the shop to point it out. My partner treated me, and bought me up a shower gel to work.
It's the Sugar crush body wash, The smell is amazingly perfect.
I've never had this scent before, to be honest I've only used ' clean on me ' but I want to branch out and try all the different scents.
For now I'm enjoying this one, the citrus scent is really refreshing.
If you haven't tried a soap and glory product get to boots. If you haven't tried a soap and glory shower gel get yourself one. They are £6.50 each which seems like a lot but it last months and that's no lie! Because it's in a pump it lasts ages.

Recent Empties

I have a couple of empties, not many but i thought i would talk about them, before they go in the bin and i forget.
Most of the things are shower related.
I haven't really used up much recently, but i have rotated everything in my bathroom trying to get my fella to help use them up!
I have some goodies waiting to be used and i hate waiting!
I have been loving the radox shower gels, The new ones.. well quite new.
I used 2 different ones recently.
- Berry Burst
- Cherry Blast
I really liked both of these, the creaminess of them and how they lather up. The fragrances are beautiful. I will defiantly repurchase these at some point because i did really enjoy these, ( think the fella did too, they went pretty quick ) Which is a downside, i like things to last, but they weren't very expensive. I think i bought them on offer at £1 each, ( I'm sure if you shop around you can find them at that price all the time )
These are the three in the range ( i think they have bought out a few more since )

Hot cloth cleanser

I have finally finished my hot cloth cleanser ( i dont mean that in a bad way ) i thought it was never going to end.. The product is so worth the money, it just kept going and going.
I was so impressed. I love this product and bought a new one quite a few weeks ago before i thought it was running out. Boy was i wrong.. I finally used it up tonight.
This was the first hot cloth cleanser i've ever used and to be completely honest when i first bought it i didn't even know what it was, until i heard someone else taking about it, and started using it. Ive used it every day every since.
I want to try a few others but haven't got around to it yet.. But i will.
Its the Superdrug Hot cloth cleanser with muslin cloth.
http://www.superdrug.com/superdrug/superdrug-hot-cloth-cleanser-with-muslin-cloth-150ml/invt/516251&bklist=
Full price £5.99, normally it is on offer, because each time I've bought it it has been around £3.00

Sanctuary shower gel
This was a new try to me, i've never tried the brand before. i bought a gift set just after christmas from boots when it goes half price. It including a few different things, like shower gel body butter etc. I was really excited to try the brand after i heard a lot of things about the range.
I have to admit i wasn't a huge fan off the shower gel. There was nothing great about it, the smell was overly nice. You didn't get a lot of product i was quite disappointed. I still have some more products to try from the range so i wont give up for the range just yet.

Bath shower week!

I'm going to talk about products that I love to use in the bath or shower and would buy again and again, some of these things I've only used once but I know I would buy again, and some are favourites I've had multiple times. I wanted to share things that I couldn't imagine my shower/ baths without.

Share your loved products with me!!

Bargain bubble bath!

I'm a sucker for bubble bath and always need to have some in the house, horder alert!!
Most of the time I also have some weather it be a full bottle, a bottle with a tiny bit in or a little sample of some sort, I need to have bubble bath in my life.
Baths are for relaxing so I can stick whatever I want in the water. As long as it smells nice.
I thought id share with you my recent find. I was in pound land a few weeks ago and thought oh I'll get some bubble bath. I didn't have high expectations but bought some anyway. I know that radox bubble baths can be found for £1 but I've tried a lot and wanted something different. I picked up a strange branded bottle and have it a sniff! Beeeautiul!
I couldn't not buy it.
It's nothing too exciting but it smells incredible! They had a few other scents but as soon as I smelt this I didn't give the others chance. It really is fruity. It does leave your water looking a bit pink, but surely that's a good thing, all girls need pink somewhere! It makes loads of bubbles without using to much product and for £1 who really can moan? It is really nice. I think people think ' pound land' I'm not going in there. But think of things you need, is there any point paying £3 when you can spend £1? You need to check it out.
When your next in there look for this bubble bath! Or any of the other range, and just have a smell.

My Recent Wish List!

I've wanted several products for a while so i thought i would put them in a wish list form, not just to share with you, but so i can remember ; and tick off in my head what I've bought. If that makes any sense, it does in my head but out loud I'm not so sure!!
All of these things are beauty related weather it be skin care, make up and others.
I'm going to try and do a wish list as often as i can,

First up is ' Rimmel London apocalypse ' These have been around for a while now and i still haven't tried them! It's unreal that it's taking me this long to try one out. Soon i will!!
The colour i want ( this most boring ) is ' Luna ' it's the nude shade, i like to stick to what I know and play it safe. You can never go wrong with a nude as it suits everyone!!
I've inserted a picture but I'm sure you know exactly what these look like!
You can buy these from a lot of places, as I'm sure you can abroad .
In the UK you can get these from ' Super drug ' ' Boots ' and I'm sure even some 'Wilkinson's'  and ' Savers'
In USA they have a whole different name ( the product looks exactly the same )
They are called ' Show Off '
Obviously I'm not American, but i have been trying to do some research for anyone that hasn't seen these yet! You can purchase these from 'Walgreens'
First thing i will do when i do eventually buy this perfect colour is share it with you!!

Next up is a skin care product, It seems silly that i always i want to try out basically the same product but from a different brand, but i guess then i know what one is best.
This one is the  ' Garnier Micellar water ' Basically at the moment i'm using exactly the same product but from ' Loreal Paris '
At Boots both products are the same price, But the Garnier is TWICE the size. It's amazing that for the same thing the difference is price. So not only is it better value for your money, i've heard it to be a ' Bioderma' dupe. Which i do have to say the packaging is very similar!
I'm Excited to see how this tackles my dark eye make up removal!
In the UK you can buy this from ' Boots ' and i've also heard that you can buy it from ' Savers ' for £2.99! but you'll have to check that one out!!
You can also buy this product online at
www.feelunique.com

This is just a quick post, let me know if you want me to do these more often??
Also let me know if there is any products from the drugstore UK you want me to review and give my thoughts on!!

Treat yourself !

What to buy what to buy?! Has anyone got any reccomendations, weather it's hair related, skin care, body or make up.
It's you guys that need to help! I want to treat myself but I don't know what to, that's the problem!
I'm sure I'll find something, I want some better foundation, I love mine currently but i feel a change. I've heard a lot of different ones, so maybe that's my next purchase, and maybe some blusher.
I'm hoping to find some major holy grails this week.
I want to re dye my hair if I get time and treat it to a real deep condiontioning treatment, prob my aussie or loreal. whilst soaking in the bath with a new face mask, anyone got any to suggest :)
Everyone loves a treat now and again, spending money on products.

I know it's a random post but here in England its 12.51 and I can't sleep, I'm all caffeined up on energy drinks! Hyper smiling!
Love everyone that reads my blog :) thanksssss

Pamper time!

Everyone looks a hot bath with lots of beautifully fragranced bubbles! Perfect. We've been having bad problems with our water recently and had no hot water for 3 weeks! You can imagine what a nightmare, washing in cold water or using the kettle! I felt poor! And when we didn't do that we went to families houses to shower, that's even worse! Talk about embarrassing, but guess what!? Our landlord finally came up trumps and fixed our hot water today :) so right now I'm in the bath enjoying the boiling water against my skin, the face mask is on and like I said all the bubbles are surrounding me. The amazing bubble bath im using is ' strawberry sorbet ' from Avon. I have so much different ones! I love them all! And the face mask is also an Avon product, it's from their planet spa range, made with japanese sake and rice. How fancy! Just a little post today ( well the 2nd ) I'm going a little blog crazy recently :) don't mind me. Hope everyone has a good night!
